Josh, Founder & Event Host/DJ
With over 300 weddings under his belt and three years as a nightlife resident DJ, Josh founded Highlight to bring a polished, personalized approach to wedding entertainment. Known for his ability to curate the perfect vibe and his impeccable timing when transitioning between moments, Josh ensures every couple’s vision shines through. When he’s not hosting weddings or running day-to-day operations for Highlight, Josh loves spending time with his wife, Rhoda, hitting the gym (either lifting weights or training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)), or chasing sunsets along 30A.
James, Event Host/DJ
James joined the Highlight team in 2022 and brings a polished, personalized touch to every wedding and event. His attention to detail and professionalism makes for a seamless planning process and gives clients confidence they will have a great experience before, during and after every event.
Known for his ability to read the crowd and create an inclusive atmosphere, James creates a soundtrack and vibe that matches client’s taste and preferences. He brings a fusion of classic and new music that resonates with guests of all ages. Whether at a wedding, private party, fundraiser or any special event, he has a special knack for connecting with people and is a reliable and sought after DJ and Event Host. Outside of weddings, James enjoys catching local live music, fishing and spending time with family.
Every member of the Highlight team undergoes a 12-week training program to ensure they’re equipped to deliver the polished, professional experience we’re known for. From advanced mixing techniques to client communication and troubleshooting, our training ensures every Event Host/DJ is ready to make your wedding a Highlight.
